HOW IT STARTED: CombatVets.net, org, com was registered in October, 1999. This Veteran Service Organization is a subsidiary of "LovedOnes Inc." a Florida corporation.  It is also supported by Internet Commercial Advantage Inc. (INTCA).   INTCA was the creator and publisher of the original American Ex-Prisoners of War Web Site under the direction of its then President Tom Twitty.  The Bio and Memorial sections were merged into CombatVets.net in Aug. of 1999.  It continues to provide member services and publishes Bio's / Memorials for CombatVets exclusively.  Currently the site is supported by INTCA and it's management under the direction of Linda Twitty its President.

Thomas J. Twitty, Publisher / Editor
Mr. Twitty was appointed Managing Editor of the EX-POW Bulletin Magazine for 1998-99.  His work was responsible for the upgrade of this organizations 56 year old national magazine and the creation and editorial content of its first website. This exposure to Veteran publishing defined the needed information gaps in veterans services thus CombatVets.net  was born. The site is designed to service the Veteran Community without fanfare, meetings and parades.   Mr. Twitty is a Vietnam Veteran (1968-69) and served with the U.S. Army 231st Reserves, River Transportation Unit.  See his Tom's Military Bio on-line
